The Council currently provides a garden waste
wheelie bin service to approx 42,700 properties in the District. If you do not live in an area that is covered by this service, you may put out your gaden waste in HBC green sacks and leave these with your normal domestic refuse for collection.
You may purchase an additional garden waste bin. Please see the
current price for a replacement bin. These may be ordered by contacting the Customer Service Unit on 0845 300 6091.
The garden waste sacks cost £7.66 per roll (£4.60 for senior citizens). Sacks can be bought the from the outlets shown below (for sales outlets in other locations please call 0845 300 6091):
