CLIMATE CHANGE EXCHANGE
In February 2011, we held a Schools “Climate Change Exchange” Conference in Thirsk to share best practice and discuss climate change action from schools, individuals and the government.

The aim of the event was to enable young people to learn more about climate change and to have an opportunity to share their views on the subject with other North Yorkshire schools students.

Part of the day’s discussion was around how individuals, schools and the government could help tackle climate change and it was agreed to compile a short report of recommendations for the Prime Minister and other key decision makers. The conference report was delivered to 10 Downing Street in October 2011.
