Attendance Permits
If you require to be cared for in your own home you can apply for an Exemption Permit for use by your carers when attending to your care needs. This is in addition to your Residential Permit. The permit is free and therefore requires proof that you are in need of care.
Proof of Eligibility
This should be a letter from your carer's organisation (e.g. Social Services or The Carers' Resource) showing you are in need of substantial and regular care, and showing your name and address, or a photocopy of proof that your carer receives Attendance Allowance on your behalf.
