LDF Core Strategy

The Core Strategy, adopted on 11 February 2009, sets out the vision of what Harrogate District should be like and the strategic policies for development and conservation up to 2021 and beyond.  The policies within the Core Strategy are now operational for all planning applications submitted from 12 February 2009.

 

 

 

Please refer to Appendix 9 (above) of the Core Strategy to see the Harrogate District Local Plan policies that have been replaced by Core Strategy policies.  

 

Please note that Core Strategy Policy SG2: "Settlement Growth: Hierarchy and Limits" has replaced Policy H6 and GB5 of the Harrogate District Local Plan and changes have been made to the hierarchy of settlements that have a development limit (see Note to Policy SG2 (12kb) for more information).
