Jacob Smith Park, Knaresborough
Jacob Smith Park in Scriven, near Knaresborough, opened in January 2008 following some safety work undertaken on the ancient trees on site. The 30 acres of private walled parkland was bequeathed for public use to Harrogate Borough Council by Miss Winifred Jacob Smith.
A Friends of Jacob Smith Park Group has been established to help move the park forward, develop a sense of pride of place/ownership and help secure funding for any site improvements we wish to make in the future.
