Knaresborough Pool celebrates 15th birthday
ALTHOUGH Knaresborough Pool opened its doors on 26 September 1990, like any good party host they put off the celebrations until most of their guests could attend.
That is why the party is being held during half term holidays.
Visitors to the pool on Friday, 28 October will have the chance to join in the celebrations with swimmers at the early birds' and adults' only sessions getting a free cup of coffee and a pastry and, thanks to sponsors
Zoggs, from 10.00 am everyone will get a small present to take home.
The normal day's pool events will take place with early birds from 7.30 am, adults only sessions, general swimming and it will all be rounded off in true party style with the Friday night Disco Feva.
When usual DJ 'The Scrutonator' (otherwise known as Duty Manager Phil Scruton) will be joined by poolside dancers (otherwise known as Lifeguards) Danni Pedel and Martyn Wood.
