List of site options	A full list of suggested site options (30kb) across the District, to help you find out where they are located and which of the following larger map files you may want to download.
Appendix A to above	Site option maps in Harrogate (9.7Mb), Knaresborough (2.6Mb) & Ripon 5.1Mb) each with site appraisals.
Appendix B to above	Site option maps in Boroughbridge (1.9Mb), Masham (1.1Mb), Pateley Bridge (820kb) each with site appraisals. Also larger villages maps (1.7Mb) (nb in these settlements, the Council also consulted parish councils to review Development Limits, areas for protection and to identify small areas of land suitable for building affordable housing for local people. Residents and interested parties were invited to get involved by contacting their parish council or emailing Harrogate Borough Council. )

It was also recommended that Accessibility criteria for housing site options (14kb) should be read as part of the consultation.

Evidence Base: Published

The Employment Land Review, approved Feb 2006, was done to help preparation of the LDF and includes:

an assessment of the District's existing employment land and premises.
a forecast of the future amount of land needed for employment use, based on market trends and demand.
recommendations for locations and type of sites to meet future requirements, including sites that could be made available for other uses should there be evidence that they cannot be used for employment purposes.
