Harrogate Junior Athletics Club
Indoor sports hall athletics' sessions take place at the Granby Sport and Play Development Centre at Harrogate High School. Qualified and experienced coaches deliver a full programme, which includes the Agility Challenge Decathlon. These athletics sessions have been held successfully for several years now and continue to be popular with budding athletes in the district.

 

Age:7-10 years
School years: 3, 4 and 5
Evenings: Wednesdays (term time only)
Time:6.30 – 7.30pm
Location: Harrogate High School (main sports hall)

School years: 6, 7, 8 and 9
Evenings: Wednesdays (term time only)
Time:7.30 – 8.30pm

Nidderdale Pool and Leisure Centre
Sports hall athletics' sessions are also held at Nidderdale Pool and Leisure Centre for 8 to 14 year olds on Wednesdays 5.00 - 6.00pm during term-time only. Please contact reception on 01423 711442 for further details.

 

Ripon Leisure Centre
Sports hall athletics' sessions are also held at Ripon Leisure Centre for 8 - 14 year olds on Wednesdays at 5.00 - 6.00pm during term-time only. Please contact reception on 01765 601353 for further details.

 

Athletics Summer Camps
Athletics coaching camps are held during the summer holidays at the Granby Sport and Play Development Centre at Harrogate High School, and around the Harrogate district, giving young people the opportunity to participate in athletics activities in a safe and fun atmosphere. North Yorkshire Athletics Network
A development group has been set up to take the development of athletics forward in the district. Involvement in the group will ensure that you are heard and have a say in how funding for athletics in the area is accessed and allocated. Individuals and clubs are now always welcome to join the group.
