Britain Since 1948

Discover how life has changed in the last 60 years.

Using objects from the collection including telephones, hairdryers, domestic items, consumer packaging and toys, pupils will see how different lives are now.

They will also compare some objects from before 1948 through the 1950s to today to see a wider range of change.

And they can play the 'mystery object' game and follow a special trail around the Royal Pump Room Museum.

Sessions are charged at £45 per class, timings flexible to suit needs.

Our events are either free or very reasonably priced. Payment is requested in advance. Refunds by arrangement with more than 14 days' written notice.

If cancelling within the 14 day notice period, we regret that monetary refunds can only be guaranteed for payments over £10 due to the administrative costs involved. If cancelling a booking for under £10 the monies spent can be held as payment towards a future event.
