My account is in credit, what happens next?

When your account is in credit, this will generally be used to reduce any other business rate or council tax you owe.  However, if you are in credit overall a refund will be paid.  If you paid by Direct Debit, a refund will be paid directly to your bank account. Alternatively, a refund cheque will be issued. Where the account is in more than one name, you may need to complete a form to advise how you want the credit to be paid. This form will be sent to you.
