The commission is the main arena for scrutiny at Harrogate Borough Council and meets on a regular basis, carrying out reviews into issues that affect residents in the Harrogate District.
The overview and scrutiny committee has a work
programme
, which is constantly monitored to ensure that it reflects the concerns of the local people.
