Paddling Pools

Harrogate Borough Council provides three paddling pools throughout the District, located in  Valley Gardens in Harrogate, Bebra Gardens in Knaresborough  Borrage Green in Ripon
These pools are open from May Bank Holiday (at the end of May) to the first week in September.
The pools are cleaned at least once per week, a process that can take up to six hours, so please be mindful of this if you are planning a visit and check with our Customer Services Unit to avoid disappointment.

• We check twice per day - am and pm - for broken glass in and around the pool
• We test for chlorine levels, adding chlorine granules if necessary
• We clear litter from site and empty bins in the immediate vicinity.
