Christmas you can discover the portraits, landscapes and much more in the art works of the great Victorian artist George Frederic Watts.
A unique exhibition of his work is on loan to us in the North from his gallery in Surrey.
Come along on New Year's Eve between 11am and 12pm
or 2pm and 3pm to make Happy New Year's cards, shaker-rainmakers to bring in the New Year, or a 2009 memory box (£1 per go).
And join Digger the dog's Saturday art club, starting on 2
nd January and taking place every first Saturday of the month throughout 2010.
Come along to the Mercer Art Gallery between 11am and 12.15pm to join in arts and crafts activities (£1 per go).
