Licensing Act 2003

The Licensing Act 2003 governs the sale of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late night refreshments (sale of hot food and drink from 23:00 - 05:00).

The four licensing objectives are:

• prevention of crime and disorder
• prevention of public nuisance
• public safety
• prevention of harm to children
