Harrogate Council awards Knaresborough Initiative Grants for fifth year running 1 June 2010
For the fifth year running, Harrogate Borough Council, has provided funding for Renaissance Knaresborough to operate a small grants scheme to help support projects and initiatives that improve the quality of life for local residents and communities.
This year, £4,500 has been awarded as follows:

Gordon Renton, Chair of Renaissance Knaresborough says that the town team is grateful to Harrogate Borough Council for continuing to fund the Knaresborough Initiative Grants.
He said:
"This source of funding is making a difference to a number of projects in the town, all of which are helping make Knaresborough a better place to live or work.
They are also adding to our visitor attraction."

All recipients of a grant will be at Knaresborough Castle at 11.30 am Wednesday 2 June 2010 to meet Gordon Renton and the Borough and Town Mayors.
