Council Tax

Council Tax

Council tax is used to pay for local services. As well as our own, it pays for services from North Yorkshire County Council, North Yorkshire Police Authority and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Authority.

Debit and credit card payments for most council services can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by using our online payment facility or telephoning our 24 hour payment line on 0845 129 55 99

Latest News:

The annual bills for 2011/12 were issued on 10 March 2011.  They show payments received up to 24 February 2011, the date the annual bill process commenced.  If you have an outstanding balance, which has not been paid since that date, you need to pay this immediately.
