We can provide translations of forms and documents in Braille or large type on request. Contact Customer Services at the Council Offices, Crescent Gardens, Harrogate, telephone 0845 300 6091.

If English is not your first language, we have a translation service for you to use.

The welcome pack is a guide for people who are new to North Yorkshire. It's designed for UK residents and new arrivals into the country.
 
The guide is available in English, Polish, Czech, Latvian and Lithuanian with another 16 languages to follow soon.
 
It contains details of national and local services such as:
  • leisure and training,
  • how to register for work, a doctor or a bank,
  • details on transport,
  • general information on advice services and community groups.
