Neighbourhood Policing is based on local priorities identified by local people as the issues that need to be dealt with in their area and Police and partners will work together to tackle them.

Crime Prevention - Crime Reduction
The Community Safety Partnership has produced a
number of leaflets with tips and handy hints on simple and
inexpensive means of crime prevention.

Feel Safe be Safe
All sectors of the community need more quality information
about crime levels, crime trends and associated risks, so that they
are better able to assess the risks in their own lives.
The Police, Fire and Rescue Service and the NHS can all
provide information for distribution to the public but may not be
best placed to deliver it.
The Feel Safe scheme will deliver information into the
community through other agencies whose workers visit homes, such
as Home Care Assistants, Housing Wardens and voluntary sector
workers. In this way misunderstandings about the true level of
crime can be corrected.
