There are kerbside recycling schemes providing 56,000 properties in the district with a multi-material black box and blue bag.
Kerbside collections do not currently cover the whole district and the areas that have been provided with the scheme have been selected for operational reasons.
For specific information on areas covered please contact 0845 300 6091 or complete our on-line form.
Ripon Community Link are a charitable organistaion who provide a supplementary recycling collection service to Bridge View and Lickley Street in Ripon.
The recycling box and bag, which have been delivered to your home, will be emptied once a fortnight. You will receive a calendar detailing which weeks your box will be picked up and a separate letter with your collection day on.
Please put your box and bag out to be collected in a safe, easily visible position at the front boundary of your property. Kerbside boxes need to be on the public footpath by 7.00 a.m. on your recycling day to guarantee being collected. They need to be taken back in as soon as possible after a collection.
If you are experiencing difficulties getting your kerbside container to the edge of your property or you are have any other problems with the service please telephone 0845 300 6091 to find out about alternative options or assistance available.
