Ripon & Harrogate Tips (Household Waste Recycling Centres)
- Stonefall Household Waste Recycling Centre, Wetherby Road, Harrogate.
- Ripon Household Waste Recycling Centre, Dallamires Crescent, Dallamires Lane, Ripon.
The sites offer facilities for the following:

- Cans
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Plastic bottles
- Green waste
- Rubble & hardcore
- Furniture
- Fridges & freezers
- Large & small electrical appliances
- Scrap metal
- Books
- Telephone directories
- Textiles & shoes
- Wood & timber
- Batteries (including car batteries)
- Tyres
- Used engine oil
- Flourescent tubes
- Gas bottles
- Christmas trees
- Asbestos (Wetherby Road only)
The tips are open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Opening times at both sites are as follows:
- March 08.30 to 17.00
- April - September 08.30 to 19.00
- October 08.30 to 17.00
- November - February 08.30 to 16.00
Amenity Tip Management
Tips are run by North Yorkshire County Council for residents to take their domestic waste for disposal and recycling. For further information, including restrictions for larger vehicles and trailers, contact North Yorkshire County Council.
