Road Safety - Teachers
Children of all ages need to know about road safety. Teachers
are in an ideal position to help them understand the risks,
particularly on the journey to and from school.
The road safety unit has many resources available for
loan.
These include key stage relevant materials such as the
activity books and more generic resources such as Arrive Alive the
junior highway code.
The links offer advice on everything from teaching children
the Green Cross Code to cycle safety, issues affecting young
drivers and advice for parents.

What about doing a traffic survey? Or designing a road safety poster? Older pupils might look at issues like road rage and green transport.
