Housing Needs Centre

At Housing Needs, we provide the following services:

  • If you are homeless or may become homeless, you can make an appointment to see a Housing Aid Officer who will try to help you either by helping you stay in your current home or trying to find you alternative accommodation
  • If you need housing advice on matters such as landlord/tenant rights, housing benefits, Housing Association accommodation, then information is available
  • The office includes a cash office at which you can pay council rent and other monies due to the Council and purchase garden and trade waste refuse sacks

You can also make other general enquiries about Council Services at the reception and if we cannot help you directly, then hopefully we will be able to put you in contact with someone who can.

Staff at Housing Needs work closely with a wide range of other agencies who provide support and assistance to people who are homeless or who may be experiencing housing difficulties, including starting a new tenancy. If you have a homelessness/housing related query and we cannot help you directly, then we will try and refer you to someone who can.
