Harrogate Borough Council

Hardship Relief

The Council will consider applications for hardship relief from non-domestic ratepayers and may grant relief if:
  1. the ratepayer would sustain hardship if the Authority did not do so, and
  2. it is reasonable for the Authority to do so, having regard to the interests of persons subject to its Council Tax.
Applications must be made in writing, to the Revenues Service; supplying copies of the last two years audited accounts and will be considered at the earliest available opportunity.
