Generally speaking funding for new businesses
in the Harrogate district is very limited.
Business Link York and North Yorkshire provides a wide
range of one-to-one advice and support to people wanting
to start a business in the Harrogate district.
Amongst other things, they can advise you on potential sources of
grants and awards for your new business.
If you would prefer to access grant information
online, you can register on the local Business Link website
to access a Grantfinder searchable database. This
contains information on European, national and local schemes
that apply to the York and North Yorkshire area (including the
Harrogate district).
The database can be used to search for potential grant and
other schemes by entering details of your business and project
idea. Based on the brief details entered, a search will then be
performed which will highlight any potentially relevant
schemes. To access this service you will need to register on
the Business Link website.
