  Credit Cards carry a surcharge of 1.2%. This is added to the amount you pay. It covers what the Council is charged by the Credit Card companies for processing of your credit card payment.
  
  Debit Cards carry no surcharge.

Call 0845 129 55 99 if you prefer to pay your bills and notices using the 24 hour Automated Telephone Payment line.

North Yorkshire County Council Online Payment Service

If your bill is with North Yorkshire County Council, you can use their NYCC online payment service to pay for items such as paying for school musical instruments or library ticket fines.
