All events are bookable in advance, unless otherwise stated.  Booking is advised due to limited capacity. 
 

Summer Holidays 2008

Make your own mummy hand!
Thursday 28th August 2pm - 4pm

£3 per child, held at the Mercer Art Gallery.

Come along to find about more about the facts and legends of Egyptian mummies whilst creating your very own moving mummy hand!

Discover Harrogate's spa heyday with lots

 

of hands-on activities.  There is a Spa Trail to complete; Family Backpacks with a treasures map to find special objects around the museum as well as games and toys to play with.  There is also a Guess the Mystery Objects game to play. 

Backpacks and mystery objects game require a £10 deposit, refundable on departure.
Available throughout the summer holidays, just drop in.

Throughout the school holidays, just drop in.
 
Enjoy a trail around the Harrogate Open at the Mercer Art Gallery, that will also lead you across the road to discover the history of Harrogate at the Royal Pump Room Museum.  If you complete it all, you can enter our prize draw! 
Suitable for ages 7 upwards, or younger with someone to help with reading.

Step back in time in our Ancient Egyptian exhibitions area where you can see treasures such as a mummy mask, amulets and shabti figures.
