Letting of Council Halls
Ripon Town Hall

Situated in the heart of the historic city, to the south of the
ancient Market Place. |

The Council Chamber is a large prestigious room on the first
floor of the Town Hall and can hold up to 70 people.
It's high ceiling and original period decor offer a
magnificent backdrop for any function or event, large or small.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen. It is available for hire on
a morning, afternoon or evening basis.
Ripon Town Hall Council Chamber has also been granted approval
to be used as a venue for Civil Marriages, Civil Partnership
ceremonies, Affirmation of Vows and Baby Naming ceremonies.

Facilities for disabled persons available at this building
include toilets suitable for the disabled, lift to the first floor
Council Chamber, ramped access to the front of the
building and a hearing induction loop for the hard of
hearing.
Knaresborough House

Situated in a prominent position on the High Street surrounded
by delightful grounds. |
It offers three rooms for hire:
- Assembly Hall capacity maximum

- Committee room capacity approximately
40
- Council Chamber capacity approximately
30
There is also a fully equipped kitchen and each room is
available for hire on a morning, afternoon or evening basis.
Facilities for disabled persons available at this building
include toilets suitable for the disabled, ramped access to
the building and a hearing induction loop for the hard of
hearing.
Hugh Ripley Hall, Ripon
Consists of one large Main Hall, two ground floor Meeting
Rooms and a large Meeting Room on the first floor, all available
for hire at reasonable rates. Kitchen facilities are also available
to hire. The Main Hall is currently available for hire for
regular weekly day time activities.
Hugh Ripley Hall is an ideal venue for private functions such
as children's parties, and other celebrations. To avoid
disappointment please contact us at least a month in advance.

01423 556575 during office hours or use the form below to make your
enquiry.
For ceremonies it is recommended that enquiries are made well
in advance of the proposed date since the North Yorkshire
Registration Service, who perform the ceremonies, are often
fully-booked for some time in advance.
