Jacob Smith Park in Scriven, near Knaresborough, opened in January 2008 following some safety work undertaken on the ancient trees on site. The 30 acres of private walled parkland was bequeathed for public use to Harrogate Borough Council by Miss Winifred Jacob Smith.
