Council Performance
The Council's performance is measured and published using a
mix of national, Government-prescribed performance indicators (PIs)
and local, Council-prescribed performance
indicators. The national PIs enable the
Council's performance to be compared with the performance of other
Shire district councils, both nationally and
locally. The local PIs reflect the local
circumstances like the size of the area served, the number of
separate population centres in the District, etc - factors which
have a direct bearing on service cost, quality and
performance.
