13 November 2007 :  REPRESENTATIVES from voluntary and community groups in the Harrogate district are being invited to a series of lottery funding workshops in Harrogate's Council Offices.
 
Organised by the Community Services team at Harrogate Borough Council, these groups will get first hand help from regional representatives of the BIG Lottery and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
 
On 21 November between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm the BIG lottery team will make a presentation about their funding programmes and will be available to answer individual questions about local projects.
 
On 27 November between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm, the Heritage Lottery regional team will make a presentation about their funding streams and after the
workshop they will be available to help local groups complete funding application forms.
 
These events will be of interest to all not-for-profit groups, parish or town councils, schools and health organisations.  There is no charge for attending.
