The councillors and committees webpages have information on councillors, committees and their papers, and related local democracy documents such as the Forward Plans of key decisions to be made by the Executive.
Tips - throughout this area of the website:
- selecting a highlighted meeting date will take you you its agenda papers, reports and minutes
- selecting a member's name takes you to his/her personal contact page
Can I attend these meetings?
Members of the public can attend all Council, Cabinet, committee and commission meetings (but will need to be excluded when exempt/confidential items are being discussed). Individual Cabinet Member meetings are not open to the public however.
What's included
The councillors and committees webpages include information on:
- councillors, their contact details, wards and memberships (direct email links are provided)
- political groups on the council
- wards - if you do not know which councillor/s represent the ward you live in, please use the My Property feature.
Cabinet and committees
- from the link committees and sub-committees you will find details of memberships and meetings for Cabinet, committees, scrutiny commissions and working groups - select the name of the body you are interested in
- select a highlighted meeting date to access the agenda papers and minutes.
Agenda papers
- in all the pages, selecting a highlighted meeting date will open up the agenda for the meeting
- from there you can select View Papers to read, print off or save to your computer, the PDF reports and minutes for each agenda item.
Forward plan
- there are links to the Forward Plans of key decisions to be made by Cabinet and individual Cabinet Members

- links to other local democracy information, such as councillors' outside body memberships and details on county councillors, MPs and MEPs.
