Yore Vision have delivered a
fascinating series of interpretive waymarked trails along the River
Ure. Each starts with a high profile panel in Boroughbridge and
surrounding key Parishes and is accompanied by a glossy leaflet
which unlocks the fascinating hidden history and landscape along
the river for locals and visitors.
The following waymarked trails have now been completed:
- Great Ouseburn
- Lower Dunsforth
- Langthorpe
- Aldborough
- Devils Arrows
- Roecliffe
- The Alwark Ramble
- The Marton-cum-Grafton eight
- The Myton Loops
- The Staveley Circle
This project has been a collaborative effort by volunteers of
Yore Vision, Boroughbridge Town Council, and Parish Councils,
along with support from Harrogate Borough Council and North
Yorkshire County Council.
