Tudor and Medieval Life
The 'Life in a Medieval Castle' gallery is designed to be of
special interest to KS1 and KS2 pupils.
The gallery contains replica medieval costumes, examples of

chain mail
armour and information about everyday life at the time, for both
rich and poor people.
Pupils can also try brass rubbings and medieval games.
A newly designed comprehensive trail is
available and, by arrangement, schools can take part in a
guided tour of the castle site including the
secret underground tunnel!
