North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership Ltd (NYBEP), creates and supports partnerships between business and the education sector.

NYBEP provides an individually tailored range of high quality services and activities to businesses, schools and colleges in the Harrogate District, York, North Yorkshire and beyond.

NYBEP aims to support and enable businesses to actively engage in the development of their future workforce, help teachers enrich the curriculum and learners develop their personal skills.

Learning and Skills Council

The Learning and Skills Council exists to make England better skilled and more competitive.

Their single goal is to improve the skills of England's young people and adults to ensure we have a workforce of world-class standard.

The LSC has an initiative called Train to Gain. The philosophy of Train to gain is that "if your business is to be successful you need to compete, and to compete you need to train your employees".
