The Council's Estates Division, is responsible
for the management and letting of managed workspace/light
industrial premises owned by the Council, these are available at
the following locations:
Conyngham Hall Business and Innovation Centre, Knaresborough
Conyngham Hall is one of Knaresborough's best-known and most
prestigious Grade II listed buildings and a former home of the
Mackintosh family (of Rowntree Mackintosh fame), the Hall is now
run commercially as a Business Centre and Conference/Events Venue
aimed particularly at the local business community and
visitors.
The Business Centre provides serviced office accommodation of
varying sizes to a wide range of businesses together with 3
conference rooms. With a fully manned reception together with a
range of office and administrative services available, it is an
ideal base for small to medium sized companies.
In addition, the former stable block at the Hall has been
converted to provide 12 innovation workshops/offices, aimed at
businesses primarily involved in promoting innovation, know how and
technology transfer. Tenants at the Innovation Centre are entitled
to use the facilities of Conyngham Hall and therefore can enjoy the
same benefits of fully serviced accommodation.
