Harrogate Economic Development Unit
The work of the Council's Economic
Development Unit (EDU) is centred around three key areas,
namely
- Business Support
- Investment & Infrastructure
- Regeneration
These three work areas are a local
interpretation of the regional and sub regional objectives being
delivered via the Regional Economic Strategy (RES) and Sub Regional
Investment Plan (SRIP).
What are the Council's main economic development
projects and priorities?
The consultation period on the draft Economic Development Unit
(EDU) Business Plan 2007-08 has now closed. The comments received
were taken into account and the plan has now been revised and
updated.
The final plan has been formally approved in late March 2007,
following which a copy is now available to view, download or order
from this website.
Details of our economic development work programme and
priorities from the last financial year are also detailed in
the
2006/07 EDU Business Plan.
Our
Annual Report for
2005/06 was published in June 2006, looking back
at our acheivements from 1st April 2005 to 31st March
2006.
