Housing Strategy 2006 -09
The Council strives to provide housing opportunities for all
residents in the District.
The Housing Strategy identifies four key local priorities,
based on local circumstances and set within national and regional
policy agendas. These are:
- Delivery of decent homes (public and private sectors)
- The provision of additional units of affordable housing
- Meeting the needs of homeless households
- Maintaining and improving upon the Council's current high standard of service delivery
