The department employs approximately 110 staff in Revenues and Benefits, and 120 across the range of support services.

The department supports the achievement of the council's long term vision of making Harrogate a better place to live, work and visit by collecting tax efficiently and fairly, paying out benefit due accurately and promptly, and supporting the provision of the full range of the council services through good professional advice and administration.
