Funeral Planning Authority

Offers advice on funeral pre-payment plans and can provide a list of local funeral directors that offer a pre-payment plan.

Millennium ADMP PLC

A service where the deceased's name and address details are added to a register that removes their information from databases and marketing lists across the UK. This prevents relatives having to contact a company each time they receive unwelcome mail.

The Nationwide Probate Company (NPC) Ltd

NPC specialise in administration of a deceased's estates at a competitive fixed fee, alongside sister company The Will Writing Company. NPC does not handle any clients' monies direct.

The Samaritans

Provide emotional support for the suicidal, despairing and lonely. Telephone lines open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Stillbirth and Neo-Natal Death Charity (SANDS)

Offers information and support to parents who have lost a baby, either at birth or soon after.

The Stroke Association

The Stroke Association is the country's leading charity solely concerned with stroke. Every year some 60,000 people die from stroke. Our work to prevent strokes and help those affected is dependent on the voluntary donations of the general public.
