Leaf Clearing (Autumn)
Each summer a programme is prepared for the forthcoming autumn Leafing season. This is designed to collect fallen leaves without impacting on the normal duties of the street cleaning team. In 2005/06 the team removed some 575 tonnes of leaves, which went to the Parks department for recycling as mulch/compost.
If you have a specific requests for leaf removal outside a property this will be actioned within the programme. This may mean it may not be dealt with immediately. Phone 0845 300 6091 to report any leaf build-up problems.
