The service is chargeable to all customers, except for domestic customers who are registered disabled or receiving Income Support or Guaranteed Pension Credit. Charges will be levied for a visit (call out) where no treatment is required. Please refer to individual pests below for current prices. You can view a copy of our policy here.
The service is offered to support public health of the district. Residents have a duty under the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949 to keep their own property free of pests.
Phone 0845 300 6091 to arrange a pest control visit or to set up a new pest control contract.
Harrogate Borough Council's Pest Control Service does not use marked vans, so any potential embarrassment at having a pest infestation can be avoided.
Pest Control can visit commercial and domestic properties to treat a variety of pests. However there are several types of pest we do not treat because they are either protected or require highly specialist treatments.
