Blocked Gully
Call 0845 300 6091 to report a blocked gully.
Please note exceptional circumstances, such as flooding, severe weather, or gritting can divert the lorries from gully clearing work.
Lost Valuables Down Gullies
If you loose valuables down a gully, such as keys or rings, we will attempt to help you, but it may be some time before anyone is available to come to your assistance. Call 0845 300 6091 and we will try and assist you as promptly as we can. There is a charge to this service: £26 per hour (plus VAT) during working hours, and £52 per hour (plus VAT) out of hours and at weekends.
Road Accidents / Road Spillage
At the request of our Highways department, the Street Cleansing team may help in the clear-up of road accidents or spillages across the road. The aim being to make the scene safe and traffic moving again unhindered as quickly as possible.
To report road accidents:
If there is a threat to life (from injuries, damage to the road, or obstructions on the road) call 999
