I have represented the Saltergate area as a District Councillor, first for the Duchy Ward and later for Saltergate Ward since 1994.  I live in Burnside Drive (100m outside the ward since the boundaries were changed) with my wife and two grown up sons.  Most of my adult life was spent in the RAF as a radar engineer but for the last 14 years I have owned a music shop in the town centre.

I currently serve on the General Purposes Committee, the Licensing Committee and the District Development Sub-Committee (Planning).
