Harrogate Lifeline Service

Harrogate Lifeline is our emergency alarm and monitoring service provided to enable older vulnerable people to continue to live in their own homes with greater confidence no matter where they live and irrespective of their tenure.

We provide a Lifeline unit, installed by a Floating Support Warden, which plugs into the home telephone point and a personal alarm pendant to be worn around the neck or clipped onto clothing.

A team of professional, friendly staff at the Call Centre answer the calls and arrange help whatever the problem.

We offer two levels of service dependent on your support needs.
  • Level 1 a monthly visit by a Floating Support Warden and emergency response
  • Level 2 a weekly visit by a Floating Support Warden and emergency response.
Funding for the service is available for people in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit or if you are on a limited income you could apply for a Financial Assessment.
