The Royal Pump Room Museum's collections feature a variety of objects linking to Victorian life and the development of Harrogate as a spa town during Queen Victoria's reign.  These include:
 
  • domestic tools such as a knife cleaner, irons, sugar nippers and a muffin dish for the home life theme
  • ceremonial objects such as a spade and trowel and a commemorative jug from the Great Exhibition for public life and community lifeVictorian pull-along fire engine toy
  • toys, games and clothing for childhood
  •  baby clothes, wedding shoes, mourning stationery and jewellery made of human hair for rites of passage
  • carpentry and other tools, shopping ephemera for working life.
