There is no charge if you pay with a debit card.
If you pay with a credit card, a surcharge of 1.2% will be added to the amount you pay. This covers what the Council is charged for the processing of your credit card payment.
Payments up to 4.30pm on a normal working day will appear on your account by the next working day.
Payments are made on a secure bank server belonging to the Council's Card Services Provider, Streamline E-Solutions (a division of the Royal Bank of Scotland).
No. Your card details will not be stored by the Council and they will not be visible or accessible outside the secure banking network.
The reference number for the item you wish to pay (this is printed on your invoice, bill or notice or on your rent smart card, so have this available). You may pay for up to 10 items in one transaction.
Your name and address, to verify your payment card details.
After payment is complete, you can print a receipt, but it will also be emailed to you.

Once you have pressed the 'PAY' button, be patient and allow the payment to complete.
Until you reach the point where you have entered your payment card details, you may safely abandon a payment by closing your browser. After that point, please be patient and wait for your payment to complete.
