Our events are either free or very reasonably priced. Payment is requested in advance. Refunds by arrangement with more than 14 days' written notice.

If cancelling within the 14 day notice period, we regret that monetary refunds can only be guaranteed for payments over £10 due to the administrative costs involved. If cancelling a booking for under £10 the monies spent can be held as payment towards a future event.

Family & School Holiday Museums and Arts Events

There's lots to entertain all the family at the Royal Pump Room Museum and Mercer Art Gallery this festive season.

Look out for our Saturday art club starting in 2010!

Please note: Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children cannot be left unless it is a booked workshop.

Digger's Saturday club

Every 1st Saturday of the month

Mercer Art Gallery

Become a member of Digger the dog's Saturday club by joining us each month for arts and crafts.

Each month you can drop in with children of all ages to join in our themed events.

Get a stamp each time you visit and gain free family entry to the Royal Pump Room Museum after 4 visits!

Become WELL TRAVELLED

Saturday 13 March - 10 am to 12 pm, 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm

Join us to celebrate our fabulous new exhibition at the Royal Pump Room, Well Travelled, which opens on Saturday 13 March. It is full of objects that people have brought back to Harrogate fromd across the world.

You can:

- Create your own travel journal

- Make a Keepsake box for your souvenirs

- Design a mask or a paper fan

2nd April until 6th June

Visit our new exhibition of artworks themed to the classic children's novel, The Secret Garden.

Play in our garden area at the front of the gallery where there will be an exhibition trail, activity sheets and toys to play with.

Become an Explorer for the Day!

Thursday 8th April, 1pm - 4pm

£1 per child, just drop in.
