Cllr. Trevor Chapman |
I am a Councillor for New Park Ward, and was first elected in May 2004. I have recently been re-elected to serve until May 2011. I have been a resident in the ward since 1970 and have two (now grown up) children, who were both pupils of New Park School. I enjoy my role as a councillor and have been active in dealing with ward issues since I was elected. In the last three years I have handled over 100 cases that were raised with me by residents. I am a member on both the Licensing Committee and the Planning Committee. |
Outside the Council, I have been a governor for New Park School since September 2005 and am a life member of Bilton Cricket Club. I am also the Liberal Democrat Shadow Cabinet member for Housing.

My Recent Involvements
Currently I am involved in listening to residents' views regarding the proposed major building developments in New Park. Traffic and other Highways issues continue to be a large percentage of the concerns that are raised with me. On a more personal level, I have had a busy year in my role of Deputy Mayor of the District.
