Access to the site can be made off Leeds Road/Almsford Bank via the
Public Right of Way (PROW).
New tree planting has been undertaken in this area since 2000, with these newly planted trees now establishing themselves and forming a green area to the entrance of the site off Leeds Road.
| There are no facilities on site but a series of desire lines and designated footpaths allows for walkers to meander through the woodland at their leisure. |
The site is relatively flat for its entire area, however the wood is characteristically wet during many of the winter months.
The site offers magnificent views to the east and south.
Stout footwear is recommended for anybody wanting to take advantage of the woodland walk.
