The Provision of Open Space in Connection with New Housing Development SPD updated 2007 (56kb) sets out the Council's policy on developer contributions for the provision of open space in association with new housing development. It was approved for adoption by Council on 7 June 2006 for implementation as planning policy from 1 August 2006.

This SPD is accompanied by its Sustainability Appraisal (348kb) and a Statement of Consultation (176kb). The latter sets out how representations made at the preferred options consultation stage (see below) have been taken into account in the SPD.
